The President of the Campania Region Stefano Caldoro, given the current legislation and in consultation with provincial governments in the region, spoke with an interim injunction in order to create the conditions necessary to contain and overcome the current state of crisis in the cycle of waste collection in Naples and province.

The contributions are for amounts well defined and to restore normal operating plant sites in the province of Naples, scheduled for October 26.
It is noted, at this moment, that because of events implemented by the citizens in the areas adjacent to the landfill Terzigno, despite the accompanying services of auto-compacting by the police, it is not possible to ensure the transfer of most of the waste in the landfill said. This situation, as reported by many municipalities will make it impossible to guarantee the regular municipal waste collection service, which, accordingly, are piling up in towns including the capital.
The choice of intervention was necessary for the exceptional situation and to avert CREATED, because of the ongoing and further build up of waste in the same urban centers, a serious threat to hygiene and health of citizens.
